Sodium Bicarbonate

Also known as baking soda, this natural ingredient is well-known for its teeth-cleaning abilities and is in fact used in some of the most well known human toothpaste on the market today, making it an ideal key ingredient in our canine dental formula. It is an effective abrasive scrub that can aid in the removal of both tartar and plaque, reducing long-term build-up, supporting healthy gum tissue.

Potassium Sorbate

Potassium is an excellent addition to our dental wash for dogs as it is proven to improve the bone mineral density in your dog’s teeth. It also has a positive effect on the overall strength of gums, improving oral health.

Sodium Benzoate

Sodium benzoate is a highly effective plaque remover. One of the most important functions of this ingredient is that it can help to combat bacteria build-up, as well as toxic and potentially harmful plaque build-up that can accumulate over time.

How To Use Our Dog Dental Formula

Add one teaspoon of Petlab Co. dog dental formula to 8oz of fresh, clean drinking water every day.

We would also suggest that you use our formula alongside a dental chew toy for optimum dental health, this will also help your dog with stronger teeth and healthier gums.

If your dog doesn’t seem to like our formula or seems cautious at first then you can try giving them our tasty dental chews instead, as this will ensure that you are doing everything you can to make sure that their oral health is taken care of.

Questions & Answers

Is it safe to give my dog Petlab Co. Dental Formula as well as Petlab Co. Dental Chews?: It is perfectly safe to give your dog both of these products. For optimum dental health, we recommend using both of them. But please take note of the Daily Feeding Guide before doing so.

Is the Dental Formula safe for puppies?: We recommend you don’t give to puppies under the age of 6 months, as their teeth are still growing out.

Can I use Dental Formula as an alternative to brushing my dog’s teeth?: This formula is very effective at tackling hard to reach areas and provides your dog with optimum dental health. But we would still advise you to brush your dog’s teeth as much as you can.

Does the Dental Formula change the taste of my dog’s water?: We have formulated the Dental Formula so that it is a very mild taste so that dogs don’t refuse to drink it.

What happens if I accidentally feed my dog too much Dental Formula?: If you do accidentally feed your dog too many chews, see a veterinarian as soon as possible. If you’re unsure how many chews to give your dog, please see the Daily Feeding Guide at the top of the page.
